The MOTO Knee
Just as necessity is the mother of invention, Mike Schultz is the creator of the MOTO Knee, a prosthetic knee joint like no other.
When extreme athlete Mike Schultz lost his leg in December 2008, he found nothing on the market could adequately reproduce the strength, agility and durability he needed in a prosthetic leg.
Determined to return to his pre-accident career, he began tinkering with his own design. The result was the MOTO Knee, a joint that allowed Mike to win 4 medals in the X Games in the last two years--2 golds in Adaptive Snocross and a gold and a silver in Adaptive Super X (Motocross).
